My rock
I'm not a "rock" person. I don't understand the appeal. But when we visited the fossil shop in Vancouver, I saw an egg made from this rock and couldn't keep my eyes off it. Something about the colours just appealed to me. However, the egg was $5,000 so I was not bringing that home with me. Instead I got this small one. It's called a Septarian Form. And I love it.

I've never paid money for a rock, but I did find an intriguing looking stone and kept it. I named it Oliver.
